Modular Gazebo Kit Assembly

II. Wall Assembly Installation
ASSEMBLY NOTES:
At this point the floor section should be properly placed and level. This assembly process will cover installation of all pre-assembled wall sections. Make sure to remove shipping brace at the base of the door opening. The door section should be installed last. C-Clamps will provide stabilization of the wall sections while drilling and driving deck screws. Remember when drilling and driving screws to place in inconspicuous area, away from view at door opening. The enclosed driver bit must be used with the Teflon coated screws.

Step 1: Apply adequate amount of construction adhesive on each of the eight corners of the floor section. The construction adhesive will provide a quite, solid structure. image021.jpg - 11460 Bytes
Step 2: Insert base of first wall assembly into floor section next to planned door entry. Ensure wall section is seated at the base of the wall section and the floor rafter by striking the top of wall assembly corners with a hammer. image022.jpg - 25129 Bytes
Step 3: Insert the next wall assembly, again ensure the wall is properly seated to the floor section. Also make sure the top of the first wall assembly is level with second wall assembly image031.jpg - 7974 Bytes
Step 4: Attach 2 C-clamps where the two wall assemblies meet to provide a secure union while fastening wall assemblies together. Strike base of wall assemblies to ensure proper alignment at the floor section. image032.jpg - 6567 Bytes
Step 5: Drill one 5/32” angled hole on wall assembly to intersect with the main floor joist, and another angled hole on opposite side of wall union. image033.jpg - 7238 Bytes
Step 6: Drill three more remaining holes in wall union, one just below hand rail, the next one just below the 45 degree angled wall brace, and the last hole just below the top rail board of wall assembly. image034.jpg - 6097 Bytes

Step 9: Place outer edge boards around perimeter of floor section. Drill three 5/32” holes in each board to secure outer edge boards to base board of the floor section.
