IV. Roof Panel Assembly
ASSEMBLY NOTES:
At this point of assembly process, the main structure of the gazebo should be complete. This assembly process will cover installing and securing the pre-assembled roof panel to the roof frame assembly. It will not be necessary to drill holes prior to driving screws. Caution: make certain that each panel is fully secured to the structure before attempting to climb onto roof. Ensure that all roof panels are equally spaced in the center of roof frame sections.
| Step 1: Place a pre-assembled roof panel on roof frame assembly and center between rafters. Roof panel may slide and fall off roof before panel is attached. Top of the roof panel should fit tightly against cupola ring, make certain that the roof panel’s edges are equally centered in each roof frame section. |  |
| Step 2: Drive eight 1½” screws through each panel’s edge into roof rafters to secure each panel in place. (One screw at each top corner, one a each bottom corner, and two more on each side equally spaced apart.) Repeat procedure for the remaining seven roof panels. |
